What We Take Down
Ranch-house teardowns, brick-building strip-outs, and slab removal across Raleigh, scheduled around permit approvals, utility disconnects, and the weather.
Four stages, always in this order, so you know what comes next on your Wake County property.
Tell us what is coming down and what goes up next. We check access, neighboring structures, trees, and drainage before writing the scope.
Demolition approval goes through City of Raleigh Development Services (Permit and Development Portal). We also prepare the asbestos paperwork under NESHAP (40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M) demolition notification to the NC DHHS Health Hazards Control Unit. Equipment stays parked until both are in order.
NC811 (North Carolina One-Call Center) members mark public lines, and service to the building is cut off at the source. Silt fence goes up around exposed Piedmont clay.
The structure comes down in planned stages with water suppressing dust. Debris is sorted for hauling, and the lot is left cleared and graded.

Older ranches and bungalows are coming down across Raleigh so new homes can go up. We plan the sequence, control the clay and runoff, and leave a lot your builder can start on.
Residential Demo:
Mid-century houses, garages, and outbuildings taken down for infill and rebuild projects.
Structural Demo:
Whole-building teardowns, foundations and crawlspace walls, and small multi-family properties.
Exterior Demo:
Decks, porches, walks, retaining walls, and clearing the rest of the lot.

Downtown brick, Midtown suites, and suburban flex space each ask for a different approach. We protect what stays, remove what goes, and haul the debris away.
Commercial Demo:
Full or partial removal of offices, retail units, warehouses, and light industrial buildings.
Interior Gut-Outs:
Ceilings, partitions, flooring, and fixtures stripped back to the shell for tenant build-outs.
Concrete Removal:
Driveways, parking pads, slabs, and footings broken out and hauled off.

Raleigh Demolition Co works on the jobs that come with a fast-growing capital city: ranch houses inside the Beltline that make way for new homes, tired office suites that need to be stripped to the studs, shopping centre pads and parking slabs that have to go before anything new is poured. We lay out the order of work before a machine moves.
Wake County lots add their own wrinkles. Red Piedmont clay turns to slick mud after a summer thunderstorm, silt fence has to stay standing, and older brick and frame buildings may hide asbestos in flooring, roofing, siding or pipe wrap. An inspection, a state notification and a utility plan come first; demolition follows.
Services: residential demolition, interior gut-outs, commercial demolition and concrete removal and hauling. The demolition overview walks through permits, asbestos and utilities in the order they usually happen.
Who you will deal with on paper: City of Raleigh Development Services for demolition permits, the NC DHHS Health Hazards Control Unit for asbestos and demolition notifications, and NC811 for public utility locates. Rules and review times change, so check current requirements with each office before you commit to a date. We will tell you which of them touch your scope.
