Privacy & Environmental Policy
Raleigh Demolition Co, serving Raleigh and Wake County, NC
This policy is a draft that has not been reviewed by counsel. Last updated: October 23, 2026.
Part One: Your Information
The short version
We use what you send us to answer your request and price your project. We do not sell it. The rest of this part explains the details.
What the website receives
- What you type into a form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you want, and any notes about the property.
- Partial entries: if you begin a form and leave, the fields already filled in may still be sent to us so we can follow up.
- Visit statistics: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the site that referred you, gathered by analytics tools once you accept cookies.
- Server records: IP address and request details that web servers log routinely for security and troubleshooting.
Why we want it
- To call or write back about an estimate and to schedule a site visit.
- To coordinate the work if you hire us, including permits and hauling.
- To see which pages help visitors and which do not, then fix the weak ones.
- To block spam and abuse of our forms.
- To meet legal or recordkeeping duties that apply to us.
We do not use your details for unrelated marketing mailings.
Who else touches it
We do not rent or sell personal information. Some outside services process it on our behalf, and each is limited to its role:
- the company hosting the website and its servers;
- the email delivery service that forwards form submissions to us;
- the analytics provider that produces visit statistics.
We may also disclose information when a law, court order, or government request requires it, or when needed to protect people or property from harm.
Cookies
Analytics cookies are used only after you choose Accept on the banner. If you choose Decline, or clear your browser storage, your choice resets. Browser settings can also block cookies, though parts of the site may then behave differently.
How long we hold it
We keep information for as long as needed to handle your request, perform any work, and satisfy business and legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it when practical.
Your choices
North Carolina does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute that we are aware of, but other applicable state privacy laws may give you rights where they apply to you. Depending on those laws, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, call (919) 420-3817 or send a message through the contact form.
Protection and minors
We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or transmission method is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection. The site is meant for adults; if a minor has sent us details, tell us and we will remove them.
Policy updates
When this policy changes, the date near the top of the page will change with it. Continuing to use the site afterward means you accept the revised version.
Part Two: Environmental Practices
How we approach it
Demolition in Wake County means managing debris, dust, and runoff from soil that turns to slick red clay in summer storms. Our crews plan each job with those realities in mind.
Materials we try to divert
- Concrete and masonry: sent to crushing and aggregate operations where available.
- Clean lumber: separated for mulch or other reuse outlets when one will accept it.
- Metals: rebar, ductwork, wiring, and fixtures sorted for scrap recyclers.
- Everything else: hauled to facilities permitted to receive construction and demolition waste.
Asbestos and other regulated materials
Before a building comes down, an inspection for asbestos is required in many cases, and a notification goes to the NC DHHS Health Hazards Control Unit under the state asbestos program. Where asbestos or lead paint turns up, the work goes to appropriately accredited or licensed abatement professionals. Check current requirements with the agency for your project.
Dust, stormwater, and erosion
Water spray keeps dust down, and silt fence or similar controls help hold exposed soil on site. Stormwater and land-disturbance requirements of the City of Raleigh and the state may apply to your lot, and we plan around them.
